The Human Harmony Conference and Award Ceremony 2025 was held in the capital of the Maldives on Thursday evening in a grand and festive atmosphere. The event focused on promoting human harmony, education, healthcare, tourism, and trade development.
The chief guest of the program was Mohamed Muthalib, Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources of the Republic of Maldives. Special guests included Ahmed Saeed Mustafa, Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning of the Maldives; Ananda Prasad Pokharel, Former Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal; Hussain Nihadh, Deputy Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation of the Maldives; and Abdul Jalil Ismail, Deputy Minister of Islamic Affairs and Imam of King Salman Mosque, Maldives. Also present was Mohammad Khalilur Rahman, President of the Maldives BNP.
The program was presided over by Md. Golam Faruk Majnu, Executive Director of the Asian Business Partnership Association. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of human harmony for global peace and development. He also highlighted the necessity of simplified visa policies to strengthen international business and tourism.
Representatives from various Asian countries participated in the conference. As recognition of their contributions to human harmony and development, 40 distinguished personalities from across Asia were honored with special awards. Among them, a Sri Lankan national received the award, which was seen as a moment of pride for the country.
For special contribution as an international Medel Indumali Gurusinghe Arachxhige, Self Motivated, Ganemulla, Sri Lanka, received a special honor.
In their speeches, the guests emphasized the importance of strengthening mutual cooperation in the fields of education, healthcare, tourism, and international trade. They noted that regional collaboration and human harmony are essential for achieving peace and sustainable development.
